General Electric Assigned Patent for Turbine Shroud Cooling System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- General Electric, Schenectady, New York, has been assigned a patent (9,458,731) developed by three co-inventors for a "turbine shroud cooling system." The co-inventors are Charles Lewis Davis III, Simpsonville, South Carolina, Terry Howard Strout, Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Pawel Piotr Kolniak, Mazowsze, Poland.
