General Electric Assigned Patent for Determining Reactive Power Capability of Renewable Energy System

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- General Electric, Schenectady, New York, has been assigned a patent (9,458,831) developed by four co-inventors for "determining reactive power capability of a renewable energy system." The co-inventors are Enno Ubben, Steinfurt, Germany, Werner Gerhard Barton, Gescher, Germany, Carsten Junge, Rheine, Germany, and Arnim Smolenski, Lingen, Germany.
