G.E. Video Compression Assigned Patent

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- G.E. Video Compression, Albany, New York, has been assigned a patent (9,462,276) developed by three co-inventors for the "hybrid video coding supporting intermediate view synthesis." The co-inventors are Thomas Wiegand, Berlin, Karsten Mueller, Berlin, and Philipp Merkle, Berlin.
