ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has been assigned a patent (9,457,132) developed by three co-inventors for the "controlled covalent attachment of bioactive bacteriophage for regulating biofilm development." The co-inventors are Rodney Martin Donlan, Atlanta, Susan Marie Lehman, Atlanta, and Andres J. Garcia, Atlanta.
