ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- The U.S. Army and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts, have been assigned a patent (9,458,357) developed by three co-inventors for "pH-sensitive sacrificial materials for the microfabrication of structures." The co-inventors are Leon M. Bellan, Somerville, Massachusetts, Robert S. Langer, Newton, Massachusetts, and Donald M. Cropek, Champaign, Illinois.
