ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- The U.S. Navy has been assigned a patent (9,460,241) developed by three co-inventors for a "system and method for nesting a nonhydrostatic model in a hydrostatic model." The co-inventors are Patrick C. Gallacher, Pearl River, Louisiana, Michael R. Schaferkotter, Gretna, Louisiana, and David A. Hebert, Diamondhead, Mississippi.
