ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- The University of Colorado, Denver, has been assigned a patent (9,457,070) developed by two co-inventors for "compositions, methods and uses of alpha 1-antitrypsin for early intervention in bone marrow transplantation and treatment of graft versus host disease." The co-inventors are Charles A. Dinarello, Boulder, Colorado, and Eli C. Lewis, Be'er Sheva, Israel.
