WASHINGTON, April 2 -- The Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) Media Bureau has amended the FM broadcast station allotment for Koloa, Hawaii, substituting Channel 272A for the previously designated Channel 264A. This decision, detailed in a Memorandum Opinion and Order released on April 1, 2025, comes after a staff engineering analysis revealed that Channel 264A did not comply with the FCC's minimum distance spacing requirements.
