AG Nessel Signs Bill Into Law as Acting Governor

LANSING, Michigan, July 26 -- Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel issued the following news release on July 25, 2024:

Today, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, while serving as acting governor, signed Senate Bill 602 into law. The legislation, sponsored by state Senator Kevin Hertel, amends the Occupational Code to specify conditions under which a right-to-list home sale agreement between a residential property owner and a real estate broker would be void and unenforceable.
