SACRAMENTO, California, April 19 (TNSres) -- Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-California, issued the following news release on April 18, 2024:
Governor Gavin Newsom today held a virtual press conference announcing nearly $200 million in new state funds to help move people out of encampments and into housing. Along with this announcement, the Governor also announced new measures that will increase oversight of state homelessness funding to ensure accountability by local jurisdictions.
