WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- The Federal Communications Commission issued the following statement on Sept. 29, 2022, by Commissioner Geoffrey Starks on an action entitled "In the Matter of Amendment of Part 11 of the Commission's Rules Regarding the Emergency Alert System" (PS Docket No. 15-94):
