TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Sept. 30 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news on Sept. 29:

Today, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) issued reemployment assistance updates on the Reemployment Assistance (RA) Claims Dashboard. As of September 28, DEO has paid 2,008,060 claimants a total of $16.7 billion ($16,728,616,141). More than 3.8 million (3,865,192) unique claims have been processed, representing 99.2% of unique claims submitted.
