WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina, June 24 -- The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools issued the following news, dated June 20:
The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education is continuing the search for the district's next superintendent. A first round of interviews wrapped up earlier this week and a second round is expected to begin later this month. The original pool of 44 candidates from 16 different states was first narrowed to less than 20 for round one interviews.
