WASHINGTON, April 24 -- The National Housing Conference, a 501(c)3 non-profit that educates decision makers and the public about housing policies and practices, issued the following news release, dated April 22:

The National Housing Conference (NHC) strongly opposes recent moves by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to issue a proposed rule that would divert limited public housing resources towards evicting undocumented family members from public housing.
