WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following statement by Executive Director Elisabeth Pearson on Gov. Phil Scott's nomination in Vermont:
"Phil Scott has failed the people of Vermont. Governor Scott has failed to lead on the issues that matter to middle-class families.
