WASHINGTON, April 19 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release:
Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will discuss the 2017 safety performance of the Turkey Point nuclear power plant, operated by Florida Power & Light Co., during an open house on May 1 at the Cutler Bay Town Center, 10720 Caribbean Blvd., in Cutler Bay, Fla. The two-unit Turkey Point plant is located near Homestead, Fla., about 20 miles south of Miami.
