WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, issued the following statement, which was published in the Congressional Record on March 15, on legislation (S. 2561) to authorize the Attorney General to suspend a controlled substances registration if there is a likelihood of a threat of diversion of a controlled substance:
