Kobuk Valley National Park to Repatriate Native American Remains to Native Village of Kiana

WASHINGTON, March 20 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Kobuk Valley National Park, Kotzebue, Arkansas, has announced plans to transfer human remains discovered within Kobuk Valley National Park in Alaska to the appropriate tribal representatives, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).
