FCC Considers Channel Substitution for KPTV in Portland

WASHINGTON, March 19 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Communications Commission has announced a proposed rulemaking to modify the Table of TV Allotments, allowing KPTV(TV), a Gray Television Licensee, LLC station in Portland, Oregon, to remain on channel 12 rather than transitioning to channel 21. This request follows Gray's inability to complete construction of the channel 21 facility by the approved deadline.
