WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- Rep. Vince Fong, R-California, issued the following news release on Feb. 7, 2025:

Today, the House of Representatives with Rep. Vince Fong's (CA-20) support, passed the Protecting American Energy Production Act (H.R. 26). This legislation prevents any President from unilaterally banning hydraulic fracturing. The Protecting American Energy Production Act passed the House by a vote of 226-188.
