WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Michigan, issued the following news release on Feb. 6, 2025:
Today, Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) voted in favor of H.R. 27, Halt All Lethal Trafficking (HALT) of Fentanyl Act, legislation that he had cosponsored. The HALT Fentanyl Act would permanently place fentanyl-related substances in Schedule I under the Controlled Substances Act. Without Congressional action, this classification would expire in March of this year.
