TAMPA, Florida, Feb. 4 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:

Handberg announces that Mihir Taneja has agreed to pay the United States $2 million to resolve allegations that he violated the False Claims Act by causing the submission of claims for compounded medicated pain and scar creams related to prescriptions tainted by a kickback arrangement.
