WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release on Jan. 16, 2025:

The Texas Chapters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Texas), the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today announced their commitment to monitoring legislation and advocating for the rights and concerns of the Muslim community as the 2025 Texas Legislative Session officially commenced on January 14, 2025.
