WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced $19,236,232 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grants for Louisiana disaster aid.
"Hurricane Ida struck southeast Louisiana hard, leaving communities in Terrebonne and St. James Parishes devastated. This $19.2 million will help cover important levee and housing repairs for our state . . .
