TALLAHASSEE, Florida, Dec. 20 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Dec. 19, 2024:

Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of George Heisel and the reappointment of Carlos Duart to the Florida International University Board of Trustees. These appointments are effective January 7, 2025.
