Daines Takes to Senate Floor to Pass Bill to Save Montana Mining Jobs

WASHINGTON, Dec. 19 -- Sen. Steve Daines, R-Montana, issued the following news release:

Senate Democrats Blocked Daines' Bill

U.S. Senator Steve Daines today took to the Senate floor to pass his "Crow Revenue Act" which would protect 100 Montana jobs, fix long-standing inholdings on the Crow Reservation, provide revenue to the Crow Tribe and help ensure the Bull Mountains Mine continues to operate. Senate Democrats blocked Daines' bill from passing.< . . .
