WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 -- Rep. Thomas Kean Jr., R-New Jersey, issued the following news release:

Today, Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-07) was appointed to serve on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce for the 119th Congress. The Energy and Commerce Committee is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.
