CANBERRA CITY, Australia, Dec. 13 (TNSres) -- The Australian Institute of Criminology issued the following statement on Dec. 12, 2024:

Based on a survey of over 13,300 online Australian adults, our new research shows:

* Two in five respondents (40.6%) reported being exposed to material they described as fringe, unorthodox or radical. One-quarter of these respondents (23.2%) accessed the content intentionally.
