Ga. U.S. Attorney: Chinese Nationals Indicted for Conspiracy to Grow Marijuana in Two South Georgia Locations

WAYCROSS, Georgia, Dec. 10 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia issued the following news release:

Eight Chinese nationals have been indicted on felony charges after investigators discovered massive indoor marijuana growing operations in rural south Georgia.

All eight defendants are charged with Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute and to Distribute and Possession with Intent to Distribute more than 1,000 marijuana plants, s . . .
