WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, introduced the Senate companion to the No Propaganda Act to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). The bill would block federal funding for the CPB because of the organization's chronically biased content.
