WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- Rep. Hillary Scholten, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (MI-03) has joined the Congressional Food Safety Caucus. The caucus, chaired by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, aims to centralize food safety, decrease foodborne illness and outbreaks, and increase inspection of imported foods.
