Yesterday, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) announced its approval of the Construction and Operations Plan (COP) for the Maryland Offshore Wind project. This milestone represents the final federal approval needed for the project, which will generate over 2 GW of offshore wind energy--enough to power over 718,000 homes--and support almost 2,680 jobs annually . . .
