NEW YORK, Nov. 15 -- The AFL-CIO Writers Guild of America East issued the following news release on Nov. 14, 2024:
After eight months of bargaining, the Writers Guild of America East (WGAE) and Motion Picture Editors Guild IATSE Local 700 (MPEG) today delivered a petition to Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan, the owners of the nonfiction production company Story Syndicate, demanding they settle a fair contract in an expeditious manner.
