PHOENIX, Arizona, Nov. 14 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona issued the following news release:
Briarwood Country Club, Inc., a private country club located in Sun City has agreed to pay $631,400 to resolve allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by knowingly obtaining a loan under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) for which it was not eligible.
