SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Nov. 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas issued the following news release:

A New Braunfels man pleaded guilty in a federal court in San Antonio to one count of attempt to receive firearm to use to commit a felony.

According to court documents, Cameron Darrick Peterson, 20, began planning mass shootings since November 2022. On Jan. 4, 2024, Peterson attempted to purchase a 12-gauge shotgun from a New Braunfels pawn . . .
