PHOENIX--Rep. Greg Stanton today applauded the U.S. Department of Transportation for issuing a landmark $50 million penalty against American Airlines for repeatedly failing to provide safe, dignified, and prompt wheelchair assistance and mishandling passengers' wheelchairs.
