WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management issued the following news release:
In support of the Biden-Harris administration's goal of deploying 30 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind energy capacity by 2030, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has completed an environmental review to assess potential wind development activities within six wind lease areas covering over 488,000 acres offshore New York and New Jersey in an area . . .
