SPARTANBURG, South Carolina, Oct. 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina issued the following news release:
Nine defendants of a Spartanburg area illegal drug trafficking ring were sentenced to a total of 1,257 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiring to distribute illegal drugs, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine. Three defendants (Bobo, Jacobs, and Canty) were also convicted of money laundering.
