HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 16 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas issued the following news release:
A 59-year-old Houston man has been convicted of all 15 counts as charged for heading a massive Medicare fraud scheme involving the fraudulent billing of expensive topical creams, announced U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.
The jury deliberated for less than five hours before convicting Mohamad Mokbel following a 10-day trial.
