NEWARK, New Jersey, Oct. 11 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey issued the following news release on Oct. 10, 2024:

A Somerset County, New Jersey, man admitted committing a federal hate crime for breaking into the Center for Islamic Life (CILRU) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and destroying property, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger for the District of New Jersey, Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department's Civil Right . . .
