SAN DIEGO, California, Oct. 10 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California issued the following news release on Oct. 8, 2024:
Troy Othneil Smith, a passenger aboard a small aircraft that made an emergency landing on Highway 76 in Oceanside last month, appeared in federal court today to face drug charges stemming from the incident.
