BROOKLYN, New York, Oct. 10 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York issued the following news release on Oct. 9, 2024:
An indictment was unsealed today in federal court in Brooklyn charging eight defendants for their alleged roles in a scheme to defraud Medicaid of approximately $68 million through the operation of two Brooklyn-based social adult day cares and a home health care financial intermediary that were paying kickbacks and bribes for services . . .
