WASHINGTON, Oct. 4 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
CHICAGO (Oct. 02, 2024) --Today, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced a settlement with 3M Co. to resolve alleged violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act at the company's facility in Cordova, Illinois. The settlement requires 3M to pay a $125,900 civil penalty and correct the violations to help improve worker safety.
