WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 -- Rep. Adam B. Schiff, D-California, issued the following news release on Oct. 1, 2024:
Today, Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) demanded answers from major social media companies about their plans to address the spread of misinformation, disinformation, and potential incitement of violence on their platforms in the lead-up to the 2024 elections. The letter was sent to the CEO's of Meta, X, TikTok, Google, Microsoft, Instagram, Snap Inc., and YouTube.
