WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

Bipartisan legislation led by U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI) to reform the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Individual Assistance program has advanced in the Senate.
