WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Rep. Cori Bush, D-Missouri, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Cori Bush (MO-01) joined Congressman Ro Khanna (CA-17) to reintroduce the End Polluter Welfare for Enhanced Oil Recovery Act (EOR) to end the tax break rewarding the fossil fuel industry for using carbon capture for EOR. The legislation would reform one of the largest and most egregious domestic fossil fuel subsidies, The Tax Credit for Carbon Sequestration (Section 45Q).
