SAN FRANCISCO, California, Oct. 1 -- The Trust for Public Land issued the following news release:
TRUCKEE, Calif. Trust for Public Land (TPL) and the Tahoe National Forest, in partnership with Truckee Donner Land Trust and Bear Yuba Land Trust, proudly announce the protection of over 3,500 acres high along the Sierra Nevada crest that will now be a part of the Tahoe National Forest, and will unlock a critical 22-mile trail connection in the landmark Pines to Mines Trail.
