WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-New Mexico, issued the following news release:

Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), co-chairs of the Senate Artificial Intelligence (AI) Caucus, today introduced legislation to leverage AI for national pandemic preparedness and response through a program called MedShield.
