WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
On Wednesday, Representative Chip Roy (TX-21) issued the following statement after voting on H.R. 9747:
"Today I voted against, H.R. 9747.
This three-month continuing resolution is the worst possible outcome the House could have chosen. It punts the expiration of government funding until right before Christmas, which almost certainly sets the stage for a massive, unipar . . .
