WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release on Sept. 20, 2024:
CHICAGO (Sept. 20, 2024) -- Today, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced a settlement with Akron Steel Treating Co. to resolve alleged hazardous waste violations at the company's facility at 336 Morgan Ave. in Akron, Ohio. Under the terms of the settlement, the company will address the alleged violations and pay a civil penalty of $105,855 to the federal governme . . .
